Ducati's newest superbike, the Panigale V4 R, is scheduled to arrive in the United States in March 2026. This seventh-generation machine represents a significant evolution, incorporating technology directly from Ducati's MotoGP and World Superbike racing successes.
The bike is powered by a 998cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine, tuned for U.S. specifications to deliver 208 horsepower. Key internal updates include lighter pistons and a revised crankshaft, resulting in smoother throttle response and more consistent power delivery across the rev range.
A major highlight is the introduction of MotoGP-inspired corner sidepods, an aerodynamic feature making its debut on a street-legal production motorcycle. The front bodywork features larger wings for increased downforce and high-speed stability. The riding position has been refined for better control.
The chassis utilizes a new front frame designed with reduced lateral stiffness for improved cornering feel. It is paired with a hollow symmetrical swingarm derived from racing, which enhances rear-wheel traction. The bike also features the Ducati Racing Gearbox (DRG) for quicker, smoother shifts.
The 2026 Panigale V4 R will be available starting at an MSRP of $49,995.
