Shelby American has reignited the street-truck segment with the introduction of the 2026 Shelby F-150 Super Snake Sport. Shifting focus away from the heavy, multi-passenger layouts common in modern trucks, this model opts for a minimalist, two-door single-cab configuration. By shedding unnecessary weight and prioritizing agility, Shelby has created a machine built exclusively for tarmac dominance.

Built upon the standard Ford F-150 regular-cab platform with a 6.5-foot bed, the Super Snake Sport measures 209.4 inches in length. This compact footprint not only provides a visual edge but also enhances the truck's power-to-weight ratio compared to its crew-cab counterparts.


Supercharged Power Plant

At the heart of the vehicle lies Ford’s 5.0-liter Coyote V8. While the stock engine produces a respectable 400 horsepower, Shelby offers a Stage 2 upgrade featuring a Whipple supercharger that vaults the output to an impressive 810 horsepower. This figure comfortably surpasses the 777-horsepower peak of the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT.

To support this forced-induction setup, Shelby integrates a suite of high-performance components:

  • A carbon-fiber air intake paired with a high-flow filter.
  • A high-volume aluminum heat exchanger to manage temperatures during heavy load.

Chassis Tuning and Exterior Design

Managing such immense power in a short-wheelbase vehicle required a complete suspension overhaul. The truck sits on adjustable KING performance coilovers and specialized lowering springs. To ensure traction during hard acceleration, Shelby installed heavy-duty traction bars to the rear axle, effectively eliminating wheel hop.

The aesthetic is matched by function, featuring a bespoke aerodynamic kit that includes:
